Carole Coffey-Hannah, a Licensed Psychologist (LP), was one of the initial psychologists at St. Paul Children’s Hospital: Midwest Children’s Resource Center (MCRC), an interdisciplinary clinic specializing in the assessment and treatment of child abuse and trauma. Her therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by Christian cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is based on understanding the influence of thought on feelings and behavior. Ms. Coffey-Hannah works primarily with children and adolescents, as well as with women with unresolved issues of childhood trauma. In addition to specialties in the treatment of trauma, depression, and anxiety, her clinical interests and competencies include parent-child relationship issues and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for individuals and groups.
