Cornerstone Program Overview
How Cornerstone Works
The Cornerstone program provides skills and support to build and maintain emotional regulation, behavior management, and interpersonal relationships. The framework of the class is built on two tools:
1. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
2. Systems Training for Emotional Predictability and Problem Solving (STEPPS)
Cornerstone members attend twice a week for six months, with sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Chanhassen office. New members join at the beginning of each month. To register, contact the Chanhassen office at 952-474-0803 to set up an individual assessment.
It is generally recommended that Cornerstone members also meet with one of NorthStar Regional’s therapists for individual counseling.
