Overview

Why Choose a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program?

NorthStar Regional’s new telehealth program is designed for individuals transitioning from higher levels of care, entering sober housing, or returning home who still benefit from structured treatment, accountability, and continued clinical engagement.

Participants receive structured group therapy, individualized treatment planning, relapse-prevention support, and care coordination with housing nf next-step services to help maintain recovery momentum while reintegrating into daily life.

Program Details

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
  • 5pm to 8pm (held in the evening to support work and family schedules)
  • Delivered via telehealth (virtual)

Getting Started

How Does Someone Start Treatment?

The first step is to schedule an assessment. If the program fits the client’s needs, we can begin the intake process.

At intake, clients are admitted to the program and placed in the track that is best for them. They will also be referred to other services as needed.

Schedule an assessment by calling 952-448-6557.

Recently completed assessments should be faxed to 952-448-6047.

Clients are expected to attend all meetings.  Individuals meet together virtually on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with 3 hours per meeting.

Our virtual option allows clients to continue their recovery work from home or sober housing while staying connected to structured treatment and support.  Through secure online groups, you’ll work with therapists and peers to build recovery skills, strengthen relapse prevention plans, and stay accountable in early recovery.

Urinalysis testing is coordinated through a third-party. A DNA verification component will be used to ensure specimen integrity and accurate monitoring. This supports strong accountability while allowing clients to participate remotely.

This option makes it easier to balance treatment with work, family, and daily responsibilities while continuing to move forward in your recovery journey.
