Vice President of Mental Health

Jacki is Vice President of Mental Health at NorthStar Regional, leading the mental health side of the system: the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Shakopee and the co-occurring care offered at designated programs.

As an LICSW, Jacki’s standard is simple: mental health care at NorthStar stands on its own, no substance use diagnosis needed, and never gets handed off between providers when both conditions are in the room.

Jacki has worked in the field since 2012 and joined NorthStar Regional in 2021. She brings extensive experience in outpatient mental health, including work with clients living with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), and is passionate about trauma-informed care. Jacki is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a specialized approach that helps clients process and heal from difficult or traumatic memories.

At NSR, Jacki has been a dedicated leader, supporting both clients and clinicians with compassion and expertise. In her new role, she will continue expanding NSR’s mental health programs while mentoring staff and ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care.

Substance use care spans medical detox through sober housing. Outpatient mental health stands on its own: you don’t need a substance use diagnosis to be seen.

Step One: You Call

We listen to what you are struggling with, what you need, and where you want to go. Then we walk through your options and find the right starting point for you. From day one, we also help with insurance enrollment, financial assistance, clothing, and essentials.

Step Two: We Pick You Up

An admissions coordinator stays on the line while a carefully vetted driver, most often someone in long-term recovery, picks you up anywhere in the Twin Cities metro. In the vehicle there is water, electrolytes, and a meal on the way, because arriving cared for matters.
