Justin is Vice President of Revenue Cycle at NorthStar Regional, running the machinery behind a core NorthStar promise: cost is a question we answer on day one, never a barrier we let you fail against. Insurance verification on the first call, Behavioral Health Fund and Medical Assistance applications at intake, and county billing all run through his team.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014, Justin holds dual degrees in Economics and Communications. Following his graduation, he gained valuable experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Epic, a leading medical Electronic Health Records company, along with a 5-year tenure as a Billing Manager at Procentive. During this time, he played a pivotal role in catering to the billing needs of over 130 mental health, SUD, EIDBI, and ARMHS agencies across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Washington.

Justin is a valuable contributor to the growth and success of NorthStar Regional, enabling us to serve an increasing number of clients each year. He is deeply committed to facilitating access to essential care and simplifying the ever-present complexities of insurance, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to receive our crucial healthcare services.

Addiction treatment and mental health counseling are our two core services, and designated programs include co-occurring care.

Substance use care spans medical detox through sober housing. Outpatient mental health stands on its own: you don’t need a substance use diagnosis to be seen.

Step One: You Call

We listen to what you are struggling with, what you need, and where you want to go. Then we walk through your options and find the right starting point for you. From day one, we also help with insurance enrollment, financial assistance, clothing, and essentials.

Step Two: We Pick You Up

An admissions coordinator stays on the line while a carefully vetted driver, most often someone in long-term recovery, picks you up anywhere in the Twin Cities metro. In the vehicle there is water, electrolytes, and a meal on the way, because arriving cared for matters.
