Men's Recovery Care in Otsego
The Otsego Campus is home to NorthStar Regional’s Men’s Residential Treatment and Intensive Outpatient with Lodging (IOL) programs. This campus provides a structured, supportive environment for men experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs.
Clients participate in a comprehensive treatment model that includes individual therapy, group counseling, psychoeducation, skills development, and co-occurring disorder support. Programming follows a phased approach that helps clients stabilize, develop core recovery skills, and prepare for a successful transition back into daily life.
The campus offers 142 beds across residential and IOL programs, along with amenities that support wellness and community—indoor workout areas, quiet spaces for reflection, outdoor walking paths, and scenic access to the Mississippi River.
Whether beginning in residential treatment or stepping down to IOL with lodging, the Otsego Campus provides a clinically grounded, recovery-focused environment designed to help men build long-term stability and success.

“I was introduced to NorthStar Regional in February of 2018 while I was serving a sentence in the Carver County jail for a DWI offense. I was completely broken as a man, and had no other options. I went directly from the jail to NorthStar’s inpatient facility. After completing 30 days in inpatient, I transitioned to their intensive outpatient program with lodging. I was introduced to some amazing counselors and therapists that worked with me daily to dissect my life and my addiction.
